Artist Bio

Drew Jacoby was born in Boise, Idaho. She started her professional ballet career at the age of 17 in San Francisco and has since performed all over the world independently and with several of the world’s most prestigious ballet and modern dance companies including Nederlands Dans Theater, Royal Ballet of Flanders, and Alonzo King’s Lines Ballet. She is a Princess Grace fellowship award winner for dance and was nominated for best female dance performance by the Benois de la Danse in Moscow, Russia for her role as Pina Bausch in Cafe Muller. She played the role of Loie Fuller in Marjane Satrapi’s 2020 feature film Radioactive, alongside Oscar and Golden Globe nominated actress, Rosamund Pike. 


Her love for visual art, fashion, and aesthetics have been present since childhood, and she has been painting since 2013. She retired from her full time performance career in November 2019 to pursue her own creative endeavors in choreography, film, lighting and costume design, and painting. Her colorful, bold, graphic, and sensual style comes through in her performance art as well as in her paintings and film.
